For commercial office buildings, shopping malls, and hospitals, the goal of air filtration is to provide high IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) while minimizing the Energy Footprint of the HVAC system. The most common and effective application is a “Two-Stage” setup: a G4 Pleated Primary Filter followed by an F7 or F8 Fine Filter. The G4 stage intercepts coarse dust and debris, protecting the sensitive, high-efficiency fibers of the secondary filter.
As an integrated industry and trade factory, we recommend using our High Dust-Holding Capacity (DHC) media for these applications. Our filters are designed with a Progressive Density Structure that allows for depth loading, which significantly reduces the “Average Pressure Drop” over the filter’s life. Lower pressure drop means the HVAC fans do not have to work as hard, leading to a direct reduction in electricity costs. By applying this balanced filtration strategy, building managers can achieve a healthy indoor environment that complies with EN779 or ASHRAE standards while hitting their 2026 sustainability and energy-saving targets.
