Maintenance Checklist: How to Maximize F5 Ceiling Filter Performance

In a professional spray booth, the F5 (EU5) Ceiling Filter is the most critical factor in achieving a “mirror-like” paint finish. However, even the best filter requires proper maintenance. Based on our technical manual, the secret to performance lies in the Stereo-Glue (Full-Immersion) technology and the Progressive Density Structure of the media.

To maintain peak performance, we recommend a strict Pressure Monitoring schedule. You should record the “Initial Resistance” when the F5 filters are first installed (typically around 25-30 Pa). Once the resistance reaches 450 Pa (the recommended “Final Resistance”), the filters must be replaced. Another key maintenance tip is checking for Laminar Airflow; if you notice turbulence or “dead spots” in the booth, it may indicate uneven dust loading. Our F5 media, featuring a reinforced cloth or net backing, is designed to resist sagging, but improper installation can still lead to leaks. Regularly inspecting the filter frames and ensuring a tight seal will prevent “paint pimples” and ensure your booth maintains its ISO-certified air quality.
